A 'stamp' is a small image around 99px by 56px in size, usually with a border which resembles physical postage stamps. They were once used to personalise DeviantArt pages, to make a 'stamp collection'. The images often pertain to aesthetics or fandoms, and a stamp collection is meant to capture a person's vibe.
A 'blinkie' is a similar image, this time 150px by 20px, a thin strip, often with a border of flashing pixels that 'blink' in and out (a 'blinkie').
These images are collected like moodboards, and often found uncredited - if you have created a stamp or blinkie found on this page let me know so I can add a proper credit link!
